Hotel Inn Salland, located in Raalte (Netherlands), is a 17-minute drive from “Avonturenpark Hellendoorn”. Quietly located hotel with free parking.

The hotel is a kind of farmhouse in u-shape, in which the rooms are divided (no elevators available). Picturesque and charming atmosphere. Our room was immense (room for 4-5 people, duplex), clean , nice decor and cozy (only the upper floor was very empty in terms of furniture).

The restaurant was small but very cozy. Here is also the reception and in the morning this room also serves as breakfast room. Super friendly staff here. We tested some dishes when we stayed here (see photos). The dishes are beautifully presented. The service is fine. The carpaccio and watermelon tartare was very tasty and fresh. I found the duck breast rillette a little less flavorful (and also too much in terms of portion – the taste was monotonous). Otherwise all the main courses were tasty, only the main course with the monk fish was a little less, the monk fish could have been fried a little more and outside of a small piece of leek there was nothing with it. The sauce was also a little less (little flavor). The desserts was a Dame Blanche 2.0, back super nice presentation, it was certainly not bad in taste, but for example children then naturally expect something different when they read that on the menu.

Now, a nice hotel, top location and wonderful people working there. Highly recommended!
