Tops

“Parc Asterix”, known for its cartoon characters “Asterix and Obelix”, is an amusement park with the main theme Romans and Gauls. Fun attractions for young and old with wet water rides and quite a few roller coasters.

Downside is that there are some roller coasters really painful, especially the “Goudurix” and “La Trace du Hourra”. The new roller coaster “Pégase Express” is a new gem for the amusement park, here you go forward and back and you meet the angry Medusa along the way.

Roller coaster “Oziris” is of course also a winner! Even if your French isn’t good, don’t miss the shows. The brand new show “Gaulois-Romains: Le Match” in the arena is super fun and the show for children with real animals “Du Rififi dans la basse-cour” is actually great for the whole family. Unfortunately the top show they had “Main basse sur la Joconde” has been stopped.

For those who have not yet visited this Resort, do not hesitate and book your tickets or your stay at “Parc Asterix” for an unforgettable moment!

Tips

We ate a sandwich menu in “La Guinguette” and it was not too bad. The reason for this is that we have tried a few restaurants on previous visits and the price / quality was really not good. For more information click the Review button.
We stayed in hotel “Les Trois Hiboux”, a nice hotel in the middle of the forest, unfortunately the service, the price / quality and the room was not top. We can advise you to book the new hotels in the amusement park, at least then you have air conditioning. For more information click the Review button.

The 3-star hôtel Les Trois Hiboux is heaven for youngsters, with wall beds separated from the parents' area, a generous outdoor space and a large games room for all those giggling fits... And with its cosy sitting room, large terrace, library and lounge bar, it has plenty to offer all you big kids too !
