Located right on the edge of the land zones “Asia” and ‘Africa’ lies restaurant “Poort van Azië”.
For atmosphere and coziness it is a 7, but we have come across better themed restaurants in all these years.
Here you can eat anything, including halal certified kebabs. There was some commotion about that but well, you can also eat something else.
At our visit it was 12:10pm, top floor was really dirty (how can that be? it had just opened!). Lots of staff, but no oven or griddle warming, so not all dishes were therefore available (again : how can that be? it’s already 12h10!). Friendliness was also not optimal, especially at checkout.
Cozy yes, atmosphere is ok, but worthy of an Award? No !
