In an environment which was renovated this year, but still with the same stunning view of the sea, the Calypso Café offers a selection of regional dishes and great classics.
This restaurant is located at the very back of the main corridor of the aquarium. Beautiful view of the sea and the beach while you are eating. The restaurant has a slightly different system but quite good. First you go to a self-service for your drink and you order what you want to eat here. Then you sit down and have to go get your food when the beeper goes off. Quite tasty dishes at reasonable good prices. The fries, on the other hand, are of lower quality. We tasted a North Sea salad, fish & chips and a salmon burger (see photos).
