Why this restaurant receives awards such as “best restaurant” or “best spaghetti” in a Belgian park by some amusement park fan websites sounds like the riddle of Rennes-le-Château, mysterious and incomprehensible. We don’t understand how thick cheap soubry-like pasta strings, bathed in water in your bowl, topped with an unflavored pasta sauce, can be the “best spaghetti” in the country …

“Mr. Spaghetti” is nicely decorated both outside and inside. At busy times it is more fun to sit outside, but here it is also very noisy as you are at the foot of the play fountains. As far as food is concerned, eat here or in the “Pirate grill”, you get exactly the same on your plate.

But our tip is as follows: go eat at the “Piratengrill”, it is a bit quieter there than here. Although we have to admit that the food progresses faster with “Mr. Spaghetti” than with the “Piratengrill”.

Do you need another tip? Just across the street from “Mr. Spaghetti” there is a snack stand with bbq sausages. You can smell them from miles away! Save money and the bbq sausage is tasty too.
