The Mövenpick Hotel Münster, divided into two buildings, is a spacious and comfortable business hotel located at the lovely Lake Aasee and set in naturally beautiful surroundings.
The hotel is just off the highway exit. Beautifully wooded and free parking (paying in the underground garage).
The hotel is built in two parts, part with the rooms and the part for meetings or events (as well as bar and restaurant). The restaurant has a gourmet restaurant. Unfortunately, it was fully booked on our visit.
The reception is made up in slightly older style. Friendly reception staff. The bar is still fairly pleasant to hang out in (large selection of drinks).
As for the rooms : good wifi connection, spacious rooms, air conditioning and good insulation. Minus point : the bathroom layout.
The restaurant is not very pleasant to stay in. Here you can eat à la carte or choose from the buffet. We tested the buffet. Certainly not bad, but we have encountered better buffets on our travels. The choice is ok, but not great either. We found the price to be on the expensive side.
What we did notice is that this hotel attracts an older crowd.
