Hotel located in wooded area, far from civilization. Peace and tranquility on arrival, you feel it immediately. Free parking.

Approaching the hotel, one sees that the building itself is in very outdated condition. Once inside is a very different story, modern and cosy. We received a very static and basic welcome at the reception. The rooms were spacious but also somewhat outdated. The windows didn’t close well either. We came here for some peace and quiet, and then they have the bright idea to put a chicken coop right under the rooms. Result: at 5 a.m. the rooster starts crowing non-stop. Be sure to ask for a room on the other side of the hotel!

The bar is an open bar, the room also opens directly onto the restaurant. We had three drinks each. After an hour, the empty glasses were still standing in front of us, while two people were talking behind the bar and four tables were occupied.

Here they have a swimming pool and a wellness center. If you ask us, we don’t find either facility appealing at this four-star hotel. The pool may be indoor, but it is located outside the hotel.

The restaurant is promising at first glance, as is the menu. They put us in a corner of the restaurant, full of cobwebs. We asked to be moved because it was over. We were given an appetizer, a mousse, this one was sour as anything, we left it that way. As a main course we took a steak for two. We had requested saignant, we got it raw. The second time the cuisson was good. It said with salad : the salad was just a tuft of arugula lettuce. This with some fries and a sauce. Definitely not a high flyer, not even the quality of the meat.

Our opinion : this hotel is too expensive for what it is. Even at check-out, we still only received very mediocre service. This hotel is “known” for its golfers and is also a golf club. No, this hotel did not please us.
