“Hotel Huxmühle,” located a 3-minute drive from Zoo Osnabrück, is an ideal location to stay. This hotel is very quietly located in the polders. Parking is free but you park on the public road at the foot of the hotel.

This hotel contains more a few rooms and a small restaurant. Very pleasant terrace in nice weather and the landscape and scenery is really typical of the region. Friendly staff.

We had a room right above the restaurant. Practically no noise from the restaurant itself. Room one the small side, very clean though, bathroom too small and also completely misplaced. Positives : fly/mosquito window present + blackout shutter. Comfort, price/quality : we found the room a little too expensive.

As for the restaurant, we can only applaud it. Very good food with excellent service. Simple dishes but very tasty. Price/quality is excellent!

Minus point : no bar and no facilities. You should not really stay here (but we did), but the restaurant is highly recommended.
