Roll camera….AND ACTION! Are you a movie fan? Then this amusement park is for you! “Movie Park Germany” is not a resort but really an excellent amusement park.

This amusement park is located near the village of Bottrop in Germany. The amusement park offers a range of attractions and in terms of atmosphere and scenery, you’re really in the right place here.

Are we missing some things? Definitely! The amusement park has been taken over several times and unfortunately some top attractions have disappeared and rides have had to change names or concepts.

Definitely do not miss the roller coaster “Star Trek – Operation Enterprise”, the family roller coaster “Movie Park Studio Tour” and the water attraction “Area 51 – Top Secret”.

Their shows are also quite worthwhile. This year (2023) Christian Farla is here with his magic show “Sherlock Holmes.” The stunt show “Operation Red Carpet” is pretty funny and the stunt are pretty cool.

Tips

Definitely allow for a full day of visiting time.
The water attractions here are really wet! Provide a poncho in bad weather.
This park has a “Dog Hotel.” So your dog can stay here during your park visit.
Rollercoasters “The Bandit” and “Iron Claw” are really rather painful roller coasters.
