Welcome to the most beautiful animal park in the Benelux!

Awarded three stars by the Michelin as a landmark in Belgium, you should not miss a visit to Pairi Daiza. Pairi Daiza, the former Paradisio, located on the beautiful domain of an old abbey, has grown in such a way that it has become impossible to visit the park in one day.

The stars of the park? The giant pandas, of course, unique for a Belgian park. Pairi Daiza also has the largest aviary in the Benelux, a beautiful indoor jungle, koalas, a volcano island with gorillas, polar bears, wolves, white tigers and so much more, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Yes, even all toilets are practical in theme!

Go from country to country, find your favorite animal and enjoy every moment.

Tips

Picnic areas can be found in “The Land of the Cold” and “The Kingdom of Ganesha”.
Believe us, as soon as you enter the park, go straight to the giant pandas, you will avoid long queues.
The train from the park is fun to do, but we think the ride is a bit too expensive (plus 95% of the sights can be seen on foot, so the train is purely entertainment).
Reservations in one of the restaurants in advance in the park are not possible. Our tip is, sit at the door of the restaurant where you want to eat around 11:30 am, then you are definitely a place. They usually open between 11:30 am and noon.
We ate in “Le Temple des Délices”, in the “Brasserie de Cambron” and in the “Oasis”. Unfortunately, all these restaurants have changed their formulas by Corona, from buffet to à la carte. In normal times, “Le Temple des Délices” is a super Chinese buffet, price / quality more than ok (by the way, our favorite buffet in the park). Perhaps a tip: translations of the map are sometimes ambiguous (ask the waiter for more information before ordering). In the “Brasserie de Cambron”, you can order typical dishes, a piece of fish, a piece of meat in a nice setting (brewery). In the “Oasis” you can eat indoor between the birds, here also a self-service buffet with nice dishes, price / quality certainly ok.
Unfortunately we did not stay in the hotel of Pairi Daiza (unfortunately then full), but we stayed in “Hôtel du Parc” in Ath.
Note: For the Plopsa season ticket holders (or other season tickets), when you book your tickets online you have to pay the full amount. Keep your tickets well during the day of your visit because after 3 p.m. until closing time of the park you can go to the office at the parking lot outside the park (right over the fryer outside). Here you can get your discount back in cash that you are entitled to with your subscription, upon presentation of your tickets, for example your Plop subscription and your identity card.
